RAFTING TARA

Camp “Brstanovica” is on river Tara, about 15km upstream from border-crossing “Scepan Polje”. The camp is 500m above the sea level.

Camp capacity:
Bungalow (with 2bed & 4bed) – capacity for 40 persons.
Tent (for 2 & 3 persons) – capacity for 50 persons.
Bungalows are equipped with 4 beds, each with mattress (10cm thick) and with sleeping bags.
Tents are equipped with waterproof mattresses (10cm thick) and with sleeping bags.

Cooking:
Exclusively domestic dish, all kinds of grill and fish (trout).

Menu:
      -Lamb, veal, chicken and fish pottage.
      -Haste-pudding and cataplas.
      -Domestic cheese and cream
      -Grill

Rafting:
The tour starts from our base-camp and rafting duration is 4 hours. Our section is about 15km long and it is one of the most exciting sections on river Tara. We raft through Brstanovacki whirlpool, Borovi whirlpool and Celije whirlpool. Half way trough, we have a pause with refreshments. Taking photos and visit Sipcanica waterfall. The end of tour is in Scepan Polje where transport waits to take us back to the camp.

Equipment:
Wearing life west and helmets is a must, we are providing them. We recommend also shorts, t-shirts, sandals and sneakers.

There is a possibility to hire a professional photographer to take pictures of your rafting tour. Pictures will be ready for you before you leave. Please, make a reservation early. Price depends on tour group.

Other activities:
National park Durmitor – Visiting national park Durmitor.
Fishing – you can borrow the equipment from us.
Rafting on river Lim .

Parking:
Lot of space in our base-camp where you can park your car.
